Mukurambakkam Church

On Sunday 11th April 2010, about 18 members of our church, headed by our dear pastor, Rev. Devaprasad visited the site of the church at Mukurambakkam. The church is being built with donations made by some members of our church, in response to a call given by our dear pastor on 24.01.2010 at the 111th anniversary of our church. The construction has reached up to the lintel level. The new church is being built adjacent to an existing church which is about 150 years old.
Mukurambakkam is a small village about 2o kms from Periya Palayam which is about 40 kms from Chennai. The group headed by our pastor, including some Pastorate Committee and Building Committee members, donors and their family reached the village  in the sweltering heat at about 1: 15 PM. After going around the construction site and prayers we were served lunch at a nearby house. And after lunch we went visiting some of the houses in the village to share the gospel and pray.
The group returned safely to the church by 5:30 PM. The hand of our good Lord Jesus Christ was upon us throughout the journey.
